Scott Woltz

Beverage Director

Originally from Washington D.C., Scott began his professional career as an acting teacher and onstage. Like many actors, Scott supplemented his income by working in the restaurant industry. After moving to New York, he discovered his love for fine dining while working at Colicchio and Sons. Scott went on to work at Eleven Madison Park, where he learned firsthand the nobility of warm service under the likes of restaurateur Will Guidara, Chef Daniel Humm and Master Sommelier Dustin Wilson. He then spent time as the opening sommelier at La Sirena, where he assumed the role of wine director before moving on to work at the esteemed Babbo Ristorante.

In 2018 Scott earned his Advanced Sommelier certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers and he was awarded Wine and Spirits Magazine “Best New Sommelier” the same year. Prior to joining Respect Hospitality, Scott was the corporate director of wine and beverage for Quality Branded Restaurant Group, where he oversaw twelve restaurants in New York, Denver and Miami.
